Book: Losing Eva

Author: Jennifer Sivec

Genre:  Chick Lit/General Fiction

Hosted by: Book Enthusiast Promotions

Brynn Michael has endured a horrific life. Heartlessly abandoned as young Eva, she was abused and victimized by the selfishness of others. Her early life renders her unable to truly let go and love.

Despite everything, she finds her inner strength and overcomes. She allows herself to trust her childhood love, Adam. With the promise of having her own family, it looks as though Brynn may finally have the happiness that always seemed unattainable.

But life takes a tragic turn and once again, Brynn is forced to face a life in turmoil. Will the arrival of a handsome stranger help turn it around or make it worse?

When the past unexpectedly catches up with her, Brynn must decide if she will embrace it or move forward on her own. Is love and happiness within reach, or is her chance gone forever?

I am just astounded after reading Leaving Eva and Losing Eva.  You need to read Leaving Eva to understand what is happening  in Losing Eva.  Leaving Eva and Losing Eva has to be two of the best stories I have ever read.  I have read many emotional books from great authors, but these two books’ are probably the most tumultuous books that I have read up to date.  They are not easy reads, but they are sure worth it.  I believe Jennifer Sivec to be an artist.  Her words are her canvas.  There is beauty among the pain that she composes in her books’.

Just a recap for Leaving Eva.  In Leaving Eva, we saw the road that Brynn took when she started from the sobbing abandoned child known as baby Eva to the broken child known adopted as Brynn.  Brynn’s life is painful.  She has to endure beatings and a very emotionally unstable adopted mother.  Brynn can’t even have a life with her husband.  Brynn has everyone in her life try to beat her down or abandon her.  She has every reason to turn into a bitter person, but she overcomes so many tragedies to turn into a beautiful young woman.  Life will never be easy for her.  The amazing turn around with Brynn is that she makes the decision to change her own destiny.

Then we turn to Losing Eva.  After reading this book, I needed to hold my child close to me and reassure myself that he was still there.  I needed to reassure my son that even with the health problems I had lately that I was working on healing.  I even looked at my son’s baby pictures and thanked God that my son was granted a miracle and lived after birth, and with help from European scientists my son was able to continue living as he got older.  We didn’t even have to leave the United States to save his life.

Brynn’s life continues to take the difficult road.  She continues to lose people close to her.  Through this she perseveres.  At times she barely hangs on, but the thing is that she does hang on.  She doesn’t try to kill herself.  She doesn’t turn to alcohol or drugs.

I don’t want to go to all of the details, because it is a story that you need to read the plot line as it develops.  I think that right now I should have stock in Kleenex.  My tears flowed and flowed and my heart wrenched from the emotions that I experienced.  The story was so well constructed that at many times it played in my mind as a movie.

And OMG are there twists and turns.  At times, I was left with my jaw dropping open.

I want to thank Jennifer Sivec for giving us readers a chance to see her difficult but beautiful stories.  I look forward to reading more by Jennifer.  I do suggest these books for reader’s TBR list.  Reading Jennifer Sivec’s stories are permanently stamped in my memory.

Jen PicAuthor Bio:

I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember~journals, poems, short stories. I always wanted to write a novel and started several over the years, but for some reason I could never see them through to the end. Until Eva came along.

I was abandoned as a child, at about the age of 2 or 3 which I strangely never gave a lot of thought to. Then I became a mother. When my youngest child was about 2, I watched him sleeping one night as I often did. But this night, I was gripped by this heart-wrenching realization that he was about the age that I was when my parents left me. Something stirred inside of me, and eventually Evawas born. “Leaving Eva” began as a story of a girl who was heartlessly abandoned, and then her story took on a life of its own. It was no longer the story that I began, and it became something else entirely.

I’ve always been somewhat of a late bloomer, but I am happy to have finally gotten in touch with my inner Author. She’s always been there lying dormant inside of me, reflecting in other parts of my life. But now she is awake and alive, shining through me every day.

I am very fortunate to have a wonderful supportive husband, two beautiful children, and an incredible family. I have a career that is rewarding and challenging and I get to work with amazing, funny, talented people every day.

Writing has been an escape, a refuge, and an outlet for me. I feel so lucky to get to channel my energy and my creativity through my writing.

With the Eva Series left open for a possible third book, I am moving on to a couple of other projects that are currently in the works. I hope that my readers will continue to stay with me through this journey as I grow and evolve.

I am so grateful for the support I’ve received and the amazing people that I’ve encountered along the way!

20 Fun Facts:

20 Fun Facts:

20 Fun Facts about Jen

  1. I’m short, but I think I’m tall.  I never realize how short I am until I am trying to reach something or unless I’m standing next to someone who is 6 feet tall or above.  I’m oddly in denial about my lack of stature.
  2. I have a bit of a potty mouth.  It’s something I’ve wrestled with since I was a teenager.  There was about a decade of my life where I was extremely disciplined, but not anymore.  It’s so bad, that my children reprimand me from time to time (although I do show restraint around them something slips out occasionally).
  3. I’m a teacher at heart.  I love to teach and I love to learn.  The entire process of discovering something new and grasping it is amazing to me.  Watching my children learn how to read and do math has been a beautiful process to see unfold.  I have a huge admiration for Teachers.
  4. I can be overly zealous about something when I really want it, almost to the point of annoyance.  Once I get my teeth into something, I’m all in.  This trait has served me well over the years, but it does require either self-restraint or someone very strong to tell me “NO.”
  5. I hate my feet.  I get pedicures on occasion, but I think that I have Fred Flintstone feet.  Square and flat L
  6. I played the Violin in middle school and the trumpet in High School.  Yes, I was a Band Geek.  I didn’t play either instrument particularly well but I did have fun.  I’ve always wanted to learn how to play the guitar, but haven’t gotten around to it yet.
  7. I’m one of those crazy people you see driving down the road, music up, singing my heart out like I’m singing to at Madison Square Gardens for my Farewell Tour.  I truly believe that I’m invisible in my car.
  8. I am asleep before my head hits the pillow and I am a sound sleeper.  Rarely do I stay awake with my thoughts, but they will wake me up in the middle of the night and keep me up once in a while.
  9. I love Horror movies.  Give me zombies, aliens, slasher movies, Freddie, Jason etc. The only movies I absolutely cannot watch are movies like “The Deer Hunter” where people are lost in remote areas and terrorized by (fill in the blank).  Those types of movies freak me out in the weirdest way.

10. I was adopted.  I was born in Seoul, South Korea and have no way of knowing who my parents are.  I’ve been in the US since I was three.  I have a deeply innate sense of gratitude that I get to be here, living this life, every day.

11. I hate lima beans!   I think it’s a texture thing, but I am definitely not a fan.  I used to gag on them with I was a kid.  It’s really the only food that I despise.

12. I always think I’m cooler than I am.  I am probably more like the ‘Nerdy Ronald Miller’ in “Can’t Buy Me Love” but I always think I’m more like ‘the Fonz’.

13. I am one of the least coordinated people you will ever meet.  I always have a mysterious bruise on me from running into or hitting something.  I walk into walls, I can’t dance, and I’m extremely ungraceful.  I can walk in heels though, unless I’ve had more than a couple of drinks, and then I’m toast. Being required to do a line dance of any sort would be my own private Hell.

14. I am in love with Google.  Yes, I would marry it if I could.  If it weren’t for Google, I would be so dumb.  I even had to Google “how to walk in Heels.”

15. I’m only funny around funny people.  I’m not a particularly funny person on my own and I can’t write ‘funny.’  But certain people bring out the funny in me for some strange reason.  I’d like to think that I bring it out of them, but I think it’s more the other way around.

16. I’m a much more laid back person than I was ten years ago.  I look back at myself then and think “Lighten Up Lucy!”  I’m either mellowing with age or gaining perspective, but either way, I’m easier to deal with now opposed to then.

17. By nature, I am a very impatient person.  By choice, I am extremely patient with most things, now.  It’s a daily war within me, but one I choose because the impatient me is very difficult to deal with.

18. I don’t have any tattoos.  I don’t think I ever really wanted one, and I’m not opposed to them.  I just don’t have any.

19. I’ve only ever had seven jobs in my entire life, some of them two at a time, and none of them I’ve ever left unfavorably.  My current job has been my career, and I’ve been there for fourteen years.  My parents instilled a strong work ethic in me, which is why I think I’ve learned to dig into the companies I’ve worked for and been able to learn so much.

20. I love trying to figure out what makes people tick.  I do it with everyone, real and fictional.  When I write, I will put a character aside for a while until they speak to me and tell me more about themselves.  In a sense, I do the same with people.  I love that every person has a story and learning about their story gives me a tremendous amount of joy.  I love that everyone is so different, yet we all fit into this crazy world somehow.

Actually, she saved two worlds, but who’s counting?

Finding herself in the middle of present day suburbia, married and a mom at only twenty years old, she’s beyond bored. Even with her popular music blog and her handsome husband Will catering to her every impulse, she longs to use the incredible powers that she possesses.

But Earth is no place for magic.

When Cole Mathison arrives, asking for Eva’s help in solving the death of a famous pop star, she cannot resist the overwhelming pull to use her abilities again.

Eva finds that there is more to the sinister murder than what the evidence shows.

There are forces at work that she could never have imagined…

And evil will be heard.

“I’ve spent the last thirty years proving to myself that I wasn’t crazy. I’ve… helped… people with paranormal activity.”

“You’re a ghost hunter?” I snorted, listening to the monitor crackle and Perry cry out softly. Will gave a deep, amused sigh, gesturing to the house.

“I am going to bed. Ten minutes, Eva.”

I automatically scowled at his order. “I’ll be up in a little while,” I countered, using all of my self control not to tell him off for treating me like a kid.

“Yes, love.” He bent to me, practically lifting me off the ground to catch me off guard with a possessive kiss. I could only hold on to his shoulders as his mouth moved over mine, and it took me five witless seconds to realize that the display was completely for Cole.

Men, marking their territory. Please.

“I won’t keep her long,” Cole promised, and Will responded with a quick nod before heading for the house. “All happily ever after here, I take it?”

I turned to him, tucking my hands under the sleeves of my hoodie. “Obviously. Now tell me what’s going on.”

He scratched his chin. “No, I’m not a ghost hunter. I just… lend a hand. When crazy, unexplainable shit happens.”

“I hate to tell you this, but people die. Every day. I’m sure the toxicology reports will come back with some fun party results.”

He stared at me, contemplating. I returned his look, waiting impatiently. Finally, he pulled his phone out of his pocket, handing it over to me.

“The security cameras caught her death. There’s no sound. Eva honey, are you sure you can handle this?”

I accepted his iPhone, shrugging. “Um, I set my father-in-law on fire from the inside out. I think I can handle watching someone die.”

His palm covered my hand, and his fingertip swept the screen open. His nails weren’t nearly as manicured as Will’s, and his calloused skin felt rough on mine. “No sound,” he repeated, and I nodded, trying not to appear as confused as I felt.

The street lamp flickered over our heads, and I waved my hand to turn the bulb completely off, leaving us in darkness.

The video began with an aerial view of Nina, black and white, in the studio. I could hear that the sound had been wiped from the video, and the continuous, looping whisper kept time with my heartbeat as my pulse began to pound in my ears.

Nina was tall and blonde, with adorable dimples that kept her looking years younger than her actual age. She had two fingers over her earpiece as she sang, and I watched her drag the back of her other hand over her brow in mid-verse.

She stopped singing, and the rushing sound intensified.

She was coughing; I watched her reach for something, and then tip her head back and take a long drink from a bottle of water.

Cole’s hand slid around my waist, and I almost screamed. I’d been so involved in the video, waiting, holding my breath, I’d almost forgotten he was next to me.

“Eva.” He warned. I ignored him, narrowing my eyes and focusing on the iPhone screen.

Nina stilled suddenly, and the water bottle slipped from her hand.

Long seconds passed as she stood there, frozen, still, and I started to lift my finger to touch the screen, checking to see if the video paused.

Her head jerked down violently, chin to chest. All of her hair surrounded her face.

When her head snapped upward to meet the camera face-on, my hand clamped over Cole’s arm.

Her mouth was a wide, dark O, no teeth, no sound… no pupils. Blackness seeped from the corners of her eyes, and she began to bend backward, further, further still, until her entire body was folded- backwards- at the waist.

After nearly a year and a half of grieving the loss of her husband, twenty-seven year old Alexa Sullivan Tate is headed back to her hometown after a decade of being away. She has no idea her high school crush, Jace McAllister, the guy who stole her heart the same night that he broke it, is more than ready to pick up the pieces.

Jace has spent the last ten years in the Army defusing bomb after bomb, trying to forget the girl who ignited all his passions. Little does he know that the spark still exists.

Ten years ago they had smoldering chemistry, but the spark between them now might light a fuse that leads to an explosion even Jace can’t stop. Not that he wants to. If only Alexa can get past her guilt and trust her heart again.

But how do you put it all on the line when you’ve already lost everything once before?

*While this is a series, each book will be standalone with spinoff characters.

I nod, and she makes her way down the hall that I now see is lined with photographs. My stomach tightens, but I figure that I need to get this over with if I’m going to be staying here. I walk towards them, stopping at the first picture. I’m guessing it’s from the day they first met, the time she told me about, because she’s giving him a playful frown while he’s grinning at her like he’s already half in love with her, which, to be honest, he probably was. I feel a slight twinge as I take in the picture, knowing that at that moment he had no idea how short of a life he was going to have with her. Hell, he probably wouldn’t have even cared, as long as he had her while he could.

Shaking the thought out of my head, I browse each one. There are candid shots of them mixed throughout professional ones from events such as her graduation, Sierra and Jeremy’s wedding, and what looks like an engagement party. As I pass each picture, it’s becoming more real to me that she had a whole separate life before we reconnected. Strangely, I’m not bothered by it, seeing how happy she looks in these pictures, even though it was with another man and not me. I’ll admit that I was a little worried when she told me about their fighting, but looking at these pictures? I know Ty made her a happy woman, and I’m grateful that she had that while she could. Do I wish it had been me? Fuck yes, but what can you do?

Coming to the last picture, I’m breathless as the image of Alexa in a wedding dress enters my vision. I’m moving in for closer inspection when she comes out of her room, stopping when she catches me. Her hand covers her mouth as she closes her eyes for a split second. She swallows hard before walking towards me. She reaches out her hand as if to touch my arm before pulling it back, obviously thinking better of it.

“Jace, I… This is probably awkward, I’m sorry. I just… I wasn’t expecting you, and I don’t…” She trails off as she stares at the wall, glancing at the picture before turning her eyes towards the floor.

About the Author

I’m a twenty six year old book junkie who is also obsessed with sports. Bengals, Buckeyes, Reds are my teams! I work for the government during the day, hang out with Air National Guard on the weekends, and am married to a guy 15 inches taller than me. We’re quite the pair! We currently live right outside of Dayton, OH with our two cats.

I’ve been reading since I was a kid. My mom was a librarian, so it was a given. Heck, she even made sure we watched Wishbone instead of the Smurfs. In 2011 when I graduated from college, my mom bought me a Nook, and then in the summer of 2012 I found this amazing site called Goodreads. I was introduced to so many amazing indie/self-published authors. After reading almost 400 books that year, my husband gave me the push to finally sit down and write my own. It was a rocky start, but over time the words started flowing and I couldn’t get Jace and Lexi out of my head.

If I’m not writing or looking through tons of photos of hot men, all in the name of research, then you can probably find me curled up with my Kindle, ignoring the rest of the world. I love my sports almost as much as I love my books. My other obsessions include red wine, hot men, country music, and all things Grace Potter.

“Finish getting ready. We’re outta here in a few minutes,” he said, then turned his back to her.

She struggled to retort from the total body meltdown. “Are we heading back to your apartment?”

“Yes,” he said just as he disappeared from the doorway.

“Good.” She raised her voice. “You can drop me off at the bus stop then.”

Chase’s head swayed back in the doorway. “Come again?”

“I’m going home, but I’ll be back in time for Caplin’s arrival on Thursday.”

Chase stepped back into the room. “Why do you want to go home?”

The question caught her off guard. She’d assumed he’d be pleased to be rid of her. Nonetheless, telling him the truth wasn’t an option. “As you said, the only reason we needed to spend time together was so I could get to know you, so we can convince Caplin we’re married.”

His forehead wrinkled. “And you feel like you know me now?”

“Well enough to pull off a bullshit marriage, yes.”

“Hmm.” He rubbed his chin, then dropped his hand and took a step toward her. His intense regard held her captive.

She clung to those dark eyes, waiting for him to say something.

“I don’t want you to go.” His low, husky words resonated in her ears.

Her body hesitated, her heart skipped, and her nerves stammered. She was convinced that all of her senses had failed her, because she was sure she hadn’t heard him right. “What?”

“There’re a few more things you need to know about me in order to successfully pull this off, Jessina.”

Every single one of her senses came back to life as he approached her.

“Will you stay here with me just one more night?” he asked, stopping in front of her. “So I can show them to you?”

“What?” Heat flushed through her body once more. “What sort of things?”

Dark, ravishing eyes dropped to her mouth as he drew a finger down the side of her cheek. It trailed along her neck, gently grazing her shoulder and caressing the length of her arm. “The sort of things I would do with my real wife.” He looked back up at her, his hand now settled on her hip. The weight of his touch caused her stomach to clench with desire. His hand shifted to the small of her back, and her next breath got caught in her throat. “I want to show you how my wife would make me feel when I’m this close to her.” He applied light pressure with his hand to her back, and the space between them descended. Their bodies became one.

“Chase…” His name fell from her lips in a near whisper when his hardness pressed into her tight-with-desire belly.

“Jessina…” he hissed back in a throaty murmur…

Perfection.  We all strive for it, but what happens when the desire to be perfect consumes you?  What happens when the need to bury your mistakes blinds you?

Melanie Crane has always been the perfect daughter, friend, student – she’s been perfect at everything, in fact.  But when she lets her insecurities, the ones that she keeps hidden from everyone, get the best of her, she falters in her pursuit of perfection.  Melanie crumples under the pressure and buries her pain.  Numbed by sadness and guilt, she is determined never to let anyone find out how broken she really is.

Bryan Mahoney may appear to have everything in order.  He’s charming, witty and completely swoon-worthy. In short, Bryan has life all figured out, but appearances can be deceiving.  When the landscape of Bryan’s family changes in an instant, he’s left to pick up the pieces.

Not all bruises leave a mark. Now, weary and afraid, Melanie and Bryan must find a way to let love heal their broken and jaded hearts.

I was more than thrilled when I saw Melanie was getting her story out.  Even though she was a secondary character in Let Love In and Let Love Stay, she always seemed to be in the background.  She was always helping someone.  Caring for those she loved was a trait I enjoyed in her.  Seeing her story and living her life through her words really allowed me the chance to see a life that was worth living and being loved.

The author, Melissa Collins, said something in the book that really hit my soul hard.  She said – “you deserve love.”  Mel had what so many women suffer with – a body image distortion.  She see all her faults instead of her positives.  When she met Bryan, she couldn’t imagine why he would love someone as imperfect as her.  I understood her when she contemplates on her life acknowledging that she always felt like everything had to be perfect.

Mel’s story is a journey.  It is a journey that is beautiful.  One full of bumps that probably would knock the shocks out of a vehicle.  But Mel needed to venture through the forest through make it through the other side.  Her triumphant finale meant growth and a possible second chance.

Author Bio:

I’ve always been an avid reader. Majoring in English Literature was a no brainer. Becoming a teacher and instilling my love for reading into my students was also a no brainer. I’ve spent the last ten years teaching and I’ve loved (mostly) every minute of it. When I was home on maternity leave for my third son, I discovered a new genre that sparked my creativity. My passion for writing sprang from my love of reading and once I knew I had a story to tell, I couldn’t wait to get it out there. I only hope that my readers enjoy reading my story as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Excerpt: (it’s a hot excerpt)

“I want to touch you. Take off your clothes.”

Brad tsked and shook his head sternly. “That’s not my will right now.”

Her gaze lowered to where he opened his pants and pushed the edges aside. He delved in and drew out the throbbing length of his cock. She swallowed hard, her hips tilting instinctively, the muscles of her channel fluttering with greedy anticipation. His cock was beautiful. Visibly pulsing. Long and thick with a network of engorged veins climbing up the straining length. The mushroom head was overly fat and shiny, weeping streaks of pre-come. She couldn’t see his testicles hidden in the folds of his pants, but she imagined they were drawn just as tense as his shaft. A shock of black curls escaped the fabric, peeking around the wide girth. She stared, thinking she’d never get used to the raw power of his beautiful body or the clutching need he evoked in her.

Brad’s gaze fixed on her face, hot and sultry and unreadable. His eyes were hooded, displaying a tiny crescent of color. Chloe felt locked in a haze of lust, a palpable thing that infiltrated her mind and clawed at her body for a physical connection to this man. She still couldn’t figure out what he wanted from her, why he’d tied her. It was patently obvious that she wanted him desperately at the moment, that she wasn’t going anywhere.

His gaze broke away from her face and made a leisurely stroll down her body, stopping to linger between her legs.  He used his palms on her knees to push back and roll up her hips, exposing her to his avid gaze. With a deep belly moan, he lowered his head and beat his tongue back and forth over her nub, deliriously lashing it to a tight bud. Chloe arched and called out, a vocal quiver that gave voice to the pleasure stabbing through her body.

Oh, God! God! That’s sooo good! Please!

Brad’s head shot up and he met her gaze. She had trouble focusing on his face, but could see a tiny grin split his lips and a dimple dig into his cheek.

“Just Brad will do, thanks. And save the amens for later.”

She bit her lip, trying to process his facetious comment, but just then, all thought spun away as he gripped his cock and dragged the bulging head slowly through her slick folds. He drew tight circles and scribbled his way along her sensitive flesh, torturing nerve endings to a screaming frenzy. Chloe jerked her hips, desperate for him to fill her. Whimpers and moans gurgled from her throat, but his hand kept urgently working his hot shaft against her, sliding and bumping, and making her mad with desperate lust.

“What do you want, Chloe?” His rough voice broke through her haze. She saw tight strain on his face while dark desire soaked his eyes, and she was glad she wasn’t the only one gripped with this brutal need.

Brad groaned, a feral rumbling, and she felt him nudge her opening, stretching her flesh with a delicious slide that pulsed bliss through her channel. His bloated tip slid in, and he pumped a few shallow beats, then withdrew with a snarling moan.

Fuck! That’s good!” He breathed harshly.

Chloe’s hips writhed off the bed. She closed her eyes and struggled for a breath, suffering the acute loss of his abandonment.

Oh, God. This. Man. Was. Killing. Her.

Her nipples were hard and tingling, her skin overly sensitive, and a deep burn fired her sex. She was dripping wet and shaking with her need for him.

“Like that, Chlo? Is that what you want?”

She nodded, unable to form words. More. She wanted much, much more.

“I see…” He held his shaft in his hand, slowly stroking from tip to base. Holding it out so she could peruse its magnificence. His cock was enormously distended, the wide head coated with their fluids. The carnal sight had her tugging hard on her bond. She craved him so desperately it physically hurt. “Hmmm…so you want my cock, is that it? You want me fucking you deep, am I right?” His gaze met hers and she was mesmerized with his intensity; his blue eyes were bottomless wells and she wanted to dive into the limpid dark pools. “You need me. Say it.”

Chloe blinked. What?

“Say it.”

“Fu—fuck me, Brad.”

“No! Say you need me. Say it, dammit!”

“I—I ne—need you.”

She stared, her body thrumming wildly, her brain scrambling her thoughts in a shuffle. What is this about? She tested the restraint.

“You won’t run…”

“I won’t run.”

“You need me.”

Didn’t I say that already? Can’t we just get on with it?

“I need you.” She swallowed, tasting the truth of her words. She thought she saw emotion cloud his eyes, bleeding through the blue.

“I need you to surrender, Chloe.”

Pageflex Persona [document: PRS0000038_00071]Her BN KoboSynopsis:

You know her side of the story, now learn his.

“It was useless. I felt branded beneath my skin by a girl who left without even saying goodbye.”

When Will Price was assigned a partner for a sixth grade class project he had no idea she would become his best friend. After years of friendship, she eventually became so much more.  Then, one day she left with no explanation.

Will’s life shattered right before his eyes and he was left alone to pick up the pieces.  Floundering without her, Will must figure out a way to carry on, to find a way to exist without her.

Seven years later, a chance encounter leaves him desperate to get her back. He has one week to make her his again.  Not everyone gets a second chance with the love of their life and Will is determined to never lose her again.

I was so happy when Carey Heywood released Her.  Her is Williams story.  The story basis is upon how Will saw his life with Sarah.  We saw Sarah’s story in Him.  Now is the chance for Will to tell his side.

This story is one full of soul-mates, reunited love, and second chances.  I gained a greater appreciation for William.  I saw the struggles he had to go through.  His mom, sister, father.   He sees Sarah as his new family.

I also enjoyed watching William grow up.  From that stupid relationship with Jessica to having a second chance with Sarah.  I really did not like Jessica at all.  I also in this book saw William’s mom in a different life as well.

I look forward to seeing more work from Carey Heywood.
